A table of allowances was circulated by a twitter handle, showing CAPF constables and persons getting more allowances than officers and soldiers of Indian army while deployed in same region. A query raised to @adgpi did not get any answer?

Pay and allowances of military soldiers is becoming a sensitive issue. A impression is being created that MOD and Govt is ignoring all requests of services HQs to remove existing anamolies.
Somehow the communication of services HQs with Ministry of Defence is not effective. Delay in decisions by MOD and Govt is creating increasing frustration among soldiers & veterans forcing them to go to court for justice.
This appears to be yet another volcano building up where serious anomalies and disparities exist. Govt seems to be following no standards of payments of salaries and compensation. Fundamentals of military compensation as per best practices are being ignored.
After the elections new govt hopefully will attend to this building anger among soldiers and veterans over serious anomalies on military compensation structure.
