Quoting a study of Indian Institute of Dalit Studies Capt Manivannan; IAS expressed his concern on deep differences in Living Condition Index of Various social groups.
A depiction of ‘living condition Index’ among the caste groups. Look at the difference. Unless we affirmatively support those children who grow up in less privileged houses, how can they ever compete with others?— Captain Manivannan (@mani1972ias) May 14, 2019

As per Capt Manivannan, the data used is of 2004 but its analysis was done 2017. The tweet generated interesting discussion.
As per @ashokkmrsingh such deep differences are cause of concern from security point of view also as these create conflict lines between various social groups and if not resolved in time then may give birth to insurgency. He also demanded that caste based census data must be published by govt for further studies. Right now such data is being kept confidential.
