Book Review; The Silence Speaks Authored By Maj Gen Pran Kaul

Book Review by Mr. Najib Hawa,

The book is a treasure of memories, as put by the general:

” An interesting journey from the dense streets of SOPORE (Kashmir) to the corridors of GHQ (AHQ) Rawalpindi (Pakistan), though Indian Military Academy, along the then
Indo- Burma ranges, ANTARCTICA and further punctuated by some salient official visits to various countries.

The imported version of the book was originally published by ‘Partridge’, Penguin Group of Companies (priced at Rs 550/-)

Now the Indian edition has recently been published by ‘Arravali International Publishers’, New Delhi (priced at Rs 299/-)

AS A GOOD WILL GESTURE TO HIS ALMA MATER GEN KOUL HAS DECIDED TO CONTRIBUTE 1/3 rd OF THE SAIL PRICE OF EACH BOOK TO NIT SGR FUND.

I strongly recommend reading this book for, the book is eye opening on various aspects and has take backs for all age groups.

The author has kept first ten copies of the Indian edition of the book with me in Mumbai which will be supplied free of any cost

HOWEVER, THE SUBSEQUENT COPIES WILL BE PRICED

(Please contact me on .9820082295 Mumbai….)
